Re-Elect Roseanna Camacho

for Bethel School Board
Director, District 3

Endorsed by
Mari Leavitt
WA State Representative
28th Legislative District

Over recent years, Rep. Leavitt has championed vital investments across the Bethel School District area that align directly with our priorities of safe learning environments and strong community infrastructure.

Through her work in the 2024 legislative session, she secured $5.7 million in funding for sidewalk projects along B Street E (from 176th to 192nd) and secured an additional $5 million for pedestrian safety routes around the district.  These improvements are helping create safer routes for students walking to school and safe egress for our community.

As a Bethel parent and School Board Director, I am thankful for her advocacy and proud to carry forward the mission we share: prioritizing students, families, and safe, thriving schools.

Roseanna's Top Priorities

SUPPORTING STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT

Every student deserves the opportunity to succeed, and my priority is to ensure they have the tools and support to do so. I am committed to raising academic achievement by expanding access to innovative programs, strengthening career and technical education pathways, and ensuring equity across all schools. While COVID created real challenges for students, the Bethel School District has worked tirelessly to support learning, and I am proud of the dedication shown by our educators and staff. I will continue to advocate for the resources and strategies that put students first—helping them thrive both academically and socially.

CHAMPIONING TEACHERS & SUPPORT STAFF

Our teachers and staff are the heart of our schools. I will work to ensure fair compensation that reflects their vital contributions, expand opportunities for professional growth, and make sure their voices are included in decisions that directly impact classrooms. By supporting those who support our students every day, we create a stronger, more stable learning environment for all.

STRENGTHENING PARENTAL & COMMUNITY ENGAGMENT

Strong schools are built on strong community partnerships. I will continue fostering open communication and collaboration with parents, families, and community organizations. By listening to families and valuing their perspectives, we can better address challenges and celebrate successes together. Schools thrive when parents and community members are engaged and feel their voices are heard.

ENSURING RESPONSIBLE STEWARDSHIP

As a current board member, Roseanna Camacho is committed to transparency and fiscal responsibility. From managing rapid housing growth to balancing enrollment changes, I will continue to ensure taxpayer dollars are used wisely and effectively. Recent bond investments have built new schools, expanded modern facilities, and opened health clinics — but careful planning remains essential as we face growth and economic uncertainty. I will remain a responsible steward of district resources while prioritizing the success of our students.

Why am I running for reelection? For him,
and for 21,499 others like him.

This campaign is personal to me — I’m not just a school board director, I’m also a Bethel parent. My son is a student in our district, and like every parent, I want him to thrive in safe, supportive, and inspiring schools.

That’s why I’m running for reelection to the Bethel School Board. Because every child — no matter their color, religion, socioeconomic background, or abilities — deserves the same chance to succeed.

Our community is strongest when we lift up all students, and I’m committed to ensuring that every decision I make as your board director keeps students and families at the center.
