Meet Roseanna

I am proud to call Graham home and to be part of the Bethel community. I have lived here since 1994, and all five of my children have attended schools in the Bethel School District. For over two decades, I have dedicated my life to service—whether at the bedside as a nurse, in the classroom as an adjunct nursing educator, or as a community advocate ensuring that people receive the care, respect, and opportunities they deserve.

Career Rooted in Service

My professional journey has taken me from caring for patients in intensive and cardiac care units, to serving as a hospital supervisor, and as a nurse manager at territorial and federal government hospitals. I had the honor of working overseas in Guam and here in Washington, where I managed critical care,  preoperative, & postoperative units, nurtured staff development, and ensured high standards of care. In addition, I’ve been privileged to teach the next generation of nurses as a former adjunct faculty in nursing education at Pierce College in Puyallup.

Leadership & Advocacy

Since 2018, I have served as the Bethel School Board Director, Position 3, and I was honored to serve on the Pierce County Citizens Advisory Board from 2020-2025, where I worked alongside other members to support local initiatives and strengthen connections between community organizations and local government. These experiences have deepened my understanding of what it means to listen, collaborate, and build trust in service to the public.

Community Roots

Graham has been my home for over 30 years, and raising my five children here has given me a strong connection to our schools and neighborhoods. Beyond my professional career, I am committed to giving back, supporting local families, and working to strengthen the places where we live, work, and raise our children. I know that when schools thrive, our whole community thrives.
